Ground Down

Grounding. Physically place all 4 limbs on the ground, or metaphorically. Ground down. Feel the earth beneath you, the support that it provides. You are secure, you are ok. During this exciting time of spring emerging, chaos and uncertainty may arise. Greet them with open arms and then find that security to tame them. I’ve been having students put a block under their head in any pose that has their crown hanging heavy. I want them to feel that physical reminder of support.
